I recently removed the door panel on drivers side to change the window lift wire mechanism. Before this all the windows there functional from the sentral control.

After the replacement the controls on drivers side are not working properly.

Driver and passenger side window buttons are not functional, but the passenger side window responds to the switch on passenger side.

Controlling rear windows work from drivers side control panel.

Mirror tilting does not work and there is no lights on the panel.

What could have happened and what can I do? I’ve tried having the window closed and disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes.

Sounds like one of the plugs not full connected. If you have VCDS you can check input signals. Or take of the card again and replug everything in again.

I dismantled the door and checked all the plugs. Same result.

I did not disconnect the battery while I did this job. Hopping that I did not damage the window controller or something like that.
