Instrument cluster brightness

When I first got my new Sportline I drove it a few times at night and didn’t seem to have any problems but last night the instrument cluster seemed to be exceptionally bright, verging on distracting.

I’ve looked at the vehicle settings and scrolled the brightness setting all the way to the left but it made no difference at all. Has anyone experienced anything similar? I’m sure it’s something I’m doing wrong but I can’t work out what 🤷🏼‍♂️
