Does anyone have any suggestions for roof bars for the Fabia estate?

I don’t fancy forking out £200 odd pounds for an item I might only use once, especially as a courier for the dresser I am transporting from my parents house for 270 miles charges £250.

Essentially, can I find a set of roof bars for £100 that won’t collapse?

Summit get terrible reviews and don’t seem to have anything suitable anyway.

I have these on mine (with a top box), seem to have been reliable and also not too noisy when fitted. I only install them when needed for camping trips each year - if you can remember how to fit them go on and off in about 20 minutes.

Probably less but then I’d have to get there to hire it and back from wherever it gets dropped off.

Do these fit to the roof rails? It seems they fit to the roof. If so, do they reach over the roof rails?

I have a Monte Carlo, so no exiting roof bars or rails, what I have fits into the holes at the top of each door frame. If you already have rails from to back and need bars to go across I've no experience of that. Roofbox.co.uk should let you choose make and model and suggest things that fit your car, but they might not know if you have factory fitted options.

This might be a better link, but only covers cars to 2021 model year.
