Light switch Auto mode

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a (small) problem with my Kamiq. On Skoda, there is no longer a warning light on the dashboard for the dipped beam headlights. Normally, in the headlight switch, in automatic mode, the parking light indicator lights up when the dipped beam headlights are on, otherwise only the Auto indicator lights up. On my vehicle, the Auto indicator light is always accompanied by the parking light indicator. As a result, there is no way to know the status of the dipped beam headlights except by observing them directly or via the multimedia screen on the car's diagram. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is normal...

You can do nothing

I'm not agree with you on this point Cairus, on the Skoda Karoq (my father) the Auto light is the only one lit during the day and when the dipped headlights come on (tunnel, darkness, rain, etc.) the sidelights light also comes on.

This picture show the light on my Kamiq switch during the day (low beam are off)

Misunderstood... Have you connected the switch yet? Coded it in the BCM?

no problem :)

I have the switch with Auto position from factory.

I haven't made coding oin the switch but I have have modified the 09 Adaptations for somes functions (and even if I revert the coding, no change)

Very strange. It's not essential but strange :)

If you Change Settings by the light, you have To do a Reset in the Main Settings of this ",Modul," in This examble, light, what you have Change

I'm still stuck with this problem. The parking light indicator stays on all the time, even when I switch it to the OFF position (during the day).

It seems like it "thinks" I need to turn my lights on.
