Lowering springs help please

Featured Replies

So here we go...i know this has been covered loads of times on here. Looking to lower my superb 280 sportline 2018 just a bit to get rid of that arch gap without it going too low as i use it daily. It doesn't have DCC.

Car has some suspension upgrades already ( Bilstein B6 Performance shocks, H&R anti roll bars front and rear, Whiteline droplinks front and rear)

Can someone please help me to choose correct Eibach springs? 🙏🏻

I get really confused with all the options Eibach has, Passat B8, Golf GTE, Audi Q2, Skoda Kodiaq etc

Many thanks in advance.

This topic has been covered many times.

Given u have the 280 AWD, part number u want is either:-

  • E10-79-012-04-22 for wagon/estate (3V5)

  • E10-85-042-03-22 for sedan/saloon (3V3)

to avoid huge lowering(red in tables) you can choose some intermediate,

closer to yellow/green(perfect stiffness without lowering)

On a 272 AWD Sportline estate, which rear springs would you recommend to match with 11-85-043-03-FA fronts?

I wouldn't mind a minimal amount of lowering (5mm, like the 11-85-043-03-FA), but I'm not sure I want the full 20mm of the E10-79-010-04-22 kit. I would be pairing them with either Bilstein B6 or B8, depending on the total amount of final lowering.

@Carlston Any input from you would be greatly appreciated too.

I was convinced, that the Eibach lowering kit for the Superb would provide too much lowering, especially in the winter season,

that was the reason of install kit from Kodiaq

Look to picture of my hatch, front of wagon's will be on the same level, but rear will be ~6 mm lower

I'm a bit confused with it all, tbh. So, rather than piece a "kit" together by using separate front spring pairs and rear spring pairs, you fitted the Kodiaq full kit? Which part number is that please, and which photo of your car has that kit fitted? Obviously you've posted lots of info and photos (very helpful btw!)...

Thanks

yes, Eibach Pro Kodiaq kit E10-79-013-03-22 includes springs F11-85-043-03-FA and F11-79-013-01-RA

Thank you very much for confirming 👍

Would you fit B6 or B8 with them?

So which ones for an 220 Estate? I don't want slammed just a little more control and a few mm lower

Since I did the new springs and B6's I had hoped it would settle a little but doesn't seem to have done so.

Eibach pro kit. £176 on autodoc at the minute. 35mm lower. https://www.autodoc.co.uk/eibach/7918700

This is the right kit for mine. But have a look on the Eibach website for your specific car, then search the part number on autodoc.
