Hi, i have a Rapid Spaceback 2018 Like Trim, yesterday i changed the original radio (swing mib2 entry) for a seat discover media, everything goes plug & play but the radio keeps always on and doesn't recognize the ignition switch nor the parking camera.

Did i need to buy some type of adapter or canbus module or the radio is incompatible?

I'm surprised the system worked at all - these systems are usually coded to the vehicle they were originally fitted.

Was anything done to the unit to defeat the protection coding?

The seller told me it had GEM, toolbox and CP patch, the radio works perfectly but it doesnt detect the ignition and the rear camera

In that case, I'd guess you need to ask the vendor for advice. Good luck.
