unless he lives in Ireland he will get wet :D seriously though they make a lovely noise , got a recording of one on my phone from the 2005 Prom stages at New Brighton last year

That's a lot of money for a chavved-up MG Metro. It hasn't even got fuel injection!

;)

That aint just a chavved up metro, thats some group B history your lookin at there.

Yeh it has 175 bph dont it?

that is a lot for such a light car!

I think MC had a rather large tongue in his cheek when he said that lads ;)

Not sure if some of the ones I've seen on the UK rallies were turbo charged but they sure sound good :D

Wow thats nice. Wonder why the seller put 174? ahh well...

Is that all from a 2.0 l or wot?

I thought it was a 3.0l V6, but I don't know how many variations there were. When I was at primary school, one of the kids dads had a road-going one

Chris

wow kool. thats quite a feat to fit such a large engine inot such a small car isnt it?

It must be - 5 secs to 60 easy....

I may well have done

The cars were sponsored by Computervision CAD/CAM

My Dad used Computervision (monochrome vector polygons on a mainframe machine that would fill a house!) in the 80s and, as a result, I had a 6R4 Computervision promotional sticker stuck to my wardrobe in about 1984.

-It's still a Chavved-up Metro though :D

A little faster than that....

A chavved up Metro... with an engine from a XJ220!

3.2? Sweet!

There should be a few more down on New Brighton prom this year on 30th September.

If anyone fancies seeing these in action close up on the Prom Stages Rally why not come out and marshal on the event. Drop me a PM if interested.

The ones that run these days generally run Goodmans 2.5 motors.

one of my all time favourite cars:).....but 174bhp!!!....i know i guy on the outskirts of glasgow who has one and it puts out nearly 400bhp!! and that has been de-tuned!!!.....always thought the cars that were banned were much higher bhp than this??!

k:)

The groups b cars were banned.

The 6r4s in use today have normally aspirated engines.
