Forfour Brabus, thought"s ?

Featured Replies

I"ve recently been toying with the idea of a Smart forfour Brabus, i like cars that are a bit different than the norm, ( hence picking a Fabia vRS ) the spec of the Brabus certianly sounds impresive 177bhp in such a light car (0-60 6.9 secs and 137mph ) and very well equiped. What"s your thougth"s and by chance has anybody driven one, Thanks Tony.

'tis a very nice motor - not cheap for what it is, but nice nonetheless. :D

Rob.

can be had for approx £12k 1 year old 10k miles, a bit expensive for a supermini, but well priced hot hatch with good kit and apparently very good reliability. haven't found it's insurance group yet though, or it's economy.

Wouldn't be seen dead in one. they look so takky, they looks like a Ch4v has stuck skirts and flared arches on...omg

probably very fast though.

can be had for approx

Ch4v and tacky?

Think it looks far more subtle than most of the sporty supermini's in the same class! I'd have one :D

Nice car- just very deer!

Had a look at one once and was VERY unimpressed with the panel gaps, but otherwise petty cool 8)

I think thats its expensive for wut it is and you can buy better cars with the same money

if you want a fast car why not just go out and buy a cossie for £2000.

too dear but if it keeps the kids entertaintained!

I like em....remap quite nicely apparently.;)

Seat aren't supportive enough....not enough padding...the dash isn't as nice as the Octys...IMHO.

It does come quite well specced but I'd want the uprated stereo as the standard one only has 4 speakers.

Got good space although the boot is obviously smaller than the Octys...but so's most things.

Black definately the best colour for it.

IMHO....it does look anywhere close to be chavy.

Istnt it just a mizzubishi colt?

what about the CZT? tiz 13k new...

looks better than the one I have seen recently but it just looks a bit .... I don't know it just ain't for me.

there something about it that just seems a bit tacky...i can't explain it.

I wouldn't have one :thumbdwn: and at gp16 insurance I'd look at a real car too...

'cos maybe you want a warranty and a new car' date=' preferably as a small hatchback which isn't going to cost you several limbs to insure and can still return a decent fuel economy? :D

if sombody wanted a car which was economical with good fuel efficiency and cheap insurance why would they buy a brabus smart thingy???????

Is the Forfour Brabus fake then

do you really reckon that the brabus forfour wouldn't cost less to run/insure than a modded (try finding a standard one) cossie..???

saw one of these the other night, it actually looked alright

I didn't say "good fuel economy and cheap insurance"...I said insurance which wouldn't cost several limbs (like Cossie insurance does - popular target for car theft apparently!) and decent fuel economy - as in, doesn't use as much as a Cossie... :)

Rob.

I guess it depends on your opinions on girls' cars

no that's not what i'm saying! i was saying that if you want cheap to run then dont buy a high performance car at all. the fourfour would certainly bess less to insure than a cossie. but the fuel consumtion is pretty similar on the cossie approx 35-40mpg.

dosn't all insurance cost several limbs regardless of which car, my 2.0 fabia muscle car costs me £1200 quid a year to insure! and what you are saying about being the cossie being a polular theft target is very true sadly, my friend mas had 2 stolen. but the fuel economy on them isn't as bad as people say they are!

i think those little forfour tings look pretty cool actually, i think i might go and have a lookat one today.

Oh Steve, your a real man you are, I am jelous, I really am

Really?! That seems kind of steep - I have a proper dodgy postcode and 3/4 years NCB on my policies, and I'm paying less than that for two cars! :D

IIRC from the mass of numbers in my head, insuring a Mk2 Escort RS Turbo would cost more than a ForFour Brabus for me...

Rob.

I was paying 1200 quid for my modded Scooby turbo  Perhaps the insurance companies also know the secret of the 2.0 fabia ;)

yeah but i'm 22 years old, and i've been driving on my parents insurance for about 5 years, i decided to go it solo this time to start notching up the old NCB
