Carlimits are running a 30 car driver training day on 22nd September if anyone is interested.

I'm booked in with the 968, but didn't know if any of you lot would be interested?

Skoda Day Out!

Well I'd be interested in doing a Skoda one too (Providing I've got one by the time it happens!) Hopefully I will have one after this weekend

"ITINERARY

09.00am

Your meeting point will be at the Airfield. There will be only 1 gate open on the day, next to the Air Traffic Control Tower. The person on the gate will direct you to where you will need to be. You will need to bring your licence with you on the day. You will then be given a safety briefing by your instructor.

9.30am - 4.00pm

A large group day with a number of tests for the car including

High speed bend.

A blast down the staight.

Slalom.

Small circuit.

manovering section.

braking section.

Lunch will be staggered between 12.00 and 2.00"

To me it sounds pretty good for £30, I spoke to a guy the other week who had done it and he said its supprising how much you learn from the day....

They also do 2 / 4 car days which are obviously more expensive but have alot more 1 to 1 tuition I guess......

Sounds similar to a handling day we did a couple years back but with a few other bits extra.

North Weald is an amazingly cool airport. I have landed there a couple of times and there are some proper vintage planes.

Just follow the link from the first post, and you can book and pay online, but you have to book and pay in advance.
