I get a childish sense of satisfaction when I go through a tunnel and give it a little beans. I guess its the reverberation of the exhaust note that gives that nice fake "Oooh' date=' it's a TVR" feeling? Anyway - anyone else have the same bit of fun in every tunnel possible? I'm already thinking ahead to the tunnel by Maidstone on the A2 next week. [/quote']

However the Medway bypass has a lovely tunnel under the river Medway:P

I don't know where it is exactly. I think actually it might be somewhere just past Folkestone, where the Mway ends and it becomes the dual carriageway (A20????) to Dover for about another 6 miles or so.

That tunnel will be my last bit of fun on English soil for 4 days. Then I'll go through again 6 miles back on English soil. VRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOM!!!!

Unfortunately there are no tunnels round my way so the best i can get is in multi storey car parks or narrow one way streets between tall buildings which work quite well:thumbup:

My uncle used to have a 205 rally car that we had built for rallying in belgium. It was a 1.9 built for about 200BHP, with a straight through exhaust to conform with belgian regulations, the louder it is the faster the car is! We used to be able to prepare for him arriving at our house 5 mins before he got there, if we knew he was coming or not! Inside the Peltor was a must, and sat in traffic at ilde the roof used to vibrate making a god awful noise too.

i drive my pug 306 1.9 dt through the tunnels around my way i cant help but bury the throttle 24 psi + dv + turbo back exhaust equals a very loud noise but it is nothing compared to my mates nissan pulsar gti r with a straight through exhaust that is a heavenly noise lol
