Just got some new BriSkoda stickers done for my car and wondered what people thought.

God, Bad or ugly.

They are on my rear windows back quarter.

How do they differ, to the one's you can buy from here?

I couldn't find a way of buying them from here, so I got them done myself.

Been trying on Vinyl Store and they haven't had anything for ages.

How many did you buy, what size are they, and how much were they.

Size wise they are about 200mm

They can do them at any size. Price will be more though.

I can understand the frustration with not being able to easily get stickers (athough I believe they will be on general sale from the site soon) but I guess you really should get permission from the site owner before using the logo - more so if other people want similar stickers which is where the thread seems to be heading

No, but you should contact kenwood if you want to manufacture an item with their trade mark on it.

No, but if you wanted to make your own Kenwood sticker then you would need to contact them for permission to use the logo...

ColinD is the site owner, doubt there'll be any problem with using the logo for your own stickers (other people have done similar) but if there will be any selling of them going on consulting him first would be best...

I don't have any show stopper objections, all publicity is good publicity.

re the kenwood example, technically yes you would need permission, some companies are more concerned than others. Objections tend to arise when associations are made between things, which is why VAG jump on VAG sites using logo's, which is why we don't have a skoda logo, they won't let us.

Mind you I do give a free sticker to freedom members.

They will be available to all soon, although not free unless your freedom if you see what I mean, but they will be less than £8 for 2, approx 240mm in length, full colour match to the logo.

I think that the price in the shop will be less for any new stickers as they have done the art work (they did this themselves from a print off of the orgional logo on the site). No real work to be done, they just have to print them off.

It would look nicer if you remove your warning sticker and lower it to the bottom edge of the quarter glass.Nice clean look then:thumbup:

Yea I just ripped them off. Do you really need them? get the dealer one out of the rear window aswell if you havent already done so, amazing how much it cleans up the external look of the car.

I've removed a couple of stickers recently. If they don't pull off (ie vinyl), I used a blade (small craft / Stanley knife type thing) and then a quick rub with some white spirit paint brush cleaner stuff.

Be careful with the knife if you are removing any dealer stickers from the rear window and the heater elements are near it!

Well as I've said before, more designs will follow. If the clear look is desired by more than 10 people I'll get them in, same for 2' boot stickers etc.
