Update.

Well, the new battery hasn't cured the flickering headlights, but then I never expected it to. Just for reference a couple of weeks ago I checked the battery voltage with the engine running and it was 14.2V at idle so no problems there either.

I only really replaced the battery because the old one was going flat in just a couple of days. So if there is nothing wrong with your current battery I say leave it be.

Try driving along in the dark with the headlights on, and then with the front windows closed briefly press both buttons to try and close them (don't do this for too long as it probably won't do the window motors any good!), you may notice your headlamps dim a little!

Hello.  Has anyone solved this problem and can help me? I have the pulsating problem too . I changed a dimmer în the alternator but still no change. The batrery power its ok. I m trying to solve this . The pulsating light happening in all the car and a click sound its heard when its happening.  Please help me. Skoda rapid 1.2 tsi 2015 65kw. Thank you

Thank you! . I started one, but i asked here cos no one told the resolve and I was thinking that maybe someone has a resolve. Thank you!

At least partly because we don't actually know what car we're working on, not even if it's a VAG car, never mind engine, PAS type and transmission, which are all relevant factors.

try adding your Rapid 1.2 TSI 65Kw (trim level?) (2015) and other details to your profile details so that it shows on every post, see mine as an example if it's shown to you, and the car details to the thread title you put up and people know where to start from if answering.
