is there any need for this? try to be objective. some knives and fork don't look attractive (some don't anyway;) ) but they do a job, similarly to mudflaps, they are designed to do a job, aslong as t

  • I'm sorry - but have you had your eyes removed? That looks quite frankly - ****! You have ruined that car. The black ones are no better. They look like a cheap slut's vinyl mini skirt with vRS badges

I think you need some more vRS badges on the car! Some people might not realise what it is.........;):D

Jonny Boy, do you fancy having your pics of PC's website for the Fabia mudflaps?

They look awsome and identical to mine....it proves they can be fitted by many people and still turn out to look the same in the end.....

also on your point about the rear flaps. I though about using rear PC blanking plates for support for the rear flaps. I did get some ready by flattening them but decided againstusing them at the last minute but they could be handy if you waned to resolve the turning in of the rear flaps?

I have noticed that these flaps are similar size to oem mud flaps so don't be put off by the title, they look really good and do not make the car look customised. they look standard! which is a good thing!

Chris,

By all means, any of my pictures may be used.

I agree about the fitment of these also. You need to start out with a little patience and some tips from the forum and the end result is really good.

I know the VRS decals are an aquired taste, but they can be removed if needs be. Personally I think the flaps are a result. The front ones are simple to fit and look superb. It's only the rears (and it's not the fault of the flap) with the curved inside profile of the arch that's fiddly. Like mentioned previous, thicker brackets would do the trick.

Here's a couple of pics of mine. The car is pretty dirty but the flaps do seem to make quite a difference. Still not sure about the rear flaps, what do you think?

Are these a real ballache to get on then?

EDIT: Like the side decals - where did you get them done?

No, they aren't too hard to put on, you just have to get your head around the instructions first. The fronts are a piece of cake, in total, it took me less than 2 hours incl. removing and refitting the wheels. Decals were from the vinyl store.

edit: was just checking net connection

Right,

sensibly reaction shifty

don't like them...fair enough, I do. I think they make the car complete.

£60 is not much at all. £15 a corner...wow big deal?

Come on now behave ! Have your opinion by all means, but this type of post is O.T.T and inapropriate :thumbdwn:

I'm thinking of doing some the same but in a carbon material. Is there anybody in/near the Leeds area who would let me use their flaps as a template ? Please.

I've settled for the Skoda ones and a bit of slicing!

I really don't like the vinyl look these have but obvisously some of you do - I'm surprised these don't flap about - but the proof will be in the using.

Good luck to those sporting the red ones :P

I was thinking the same....not sure if they flap about can't see them when i'm driving.... didi go on motorway for 3 hours the other day and nothing has moved so it's all good/

they do work definitly, when the road is wet you don't get spray op the sides of the car!

the thing is with the vinyl look is that they match the colour of the car (if black on black, not sure about red) and they look oem.

had many of friends and work colleagues say they look really good, and trust me if they thought they look crap they would definitly tell me / take the p155.

Bit harsh!?!?!?!?!

Everyone's entitled to an opinion but that's taking things a bit too far!

I'm sure there are people who might not like your additions and i'm pretty sure you wouldn't appreciate this sort of reaction!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I rest my case.

She says the flaps keep the dirt off.
