Rally Mudflaps for VRS

Featured Replies

hello,

I have a silver fabia vrs with the rally style mud flaps on.

Mud flap material is proper tramac spec 4 mm thick, which come in sheets of about 18" square.

They do multiple colours mine are green.

I will see if I can find the website for you. I will also try and post a photo of my car on here to show you what they look like.

Cheers george.

is there any need for this? try to be objective. some knives and fork don't look attractive (some don't anyway;) ) but they do a job, similarly to mudflaps, they are designed to do a job, aslong as t

  • I'm sorry - but have you had your eyes removed? That looks quite frankly - ****! You have ruined that car. The black ones are no better. They look like a cheap slut's vinyl mini skirt with vRS badges

If my wife's flaps were that wide and dangly it'd be designer vagina time!

Heres some pictures of my fabia vrs with green rally mudflaps, they were shaped and cut by hand and stuck on with some automotive double sided tape.

Hope you like the pictures.

step back...enage brain please

I think you were asking a bit too much there Chris! It's a bit difficult to engage something they obviously don't possess   !!

P.G - Everyone has the right to an opinion, however I take issue with the way you have chosen to put forward yours. Chris and the guys at Performance Creations have gone to a lot of effort to produce a high quality product that has a high level of demand. I for one am glad that these mudflaps are now available and will be fitting a set to my car soon, if you don't like them don't buy any!! People like Chris should be applauded, not berated by a mindless minority. P.S. Maybe if you came up with more intelligent comparisons people may take your opinions seriously :o:rolleyes: !?!?!?!

thanks Jono. I think Keith VRS shauld be applauded more for the time and effort gone into to travelling to PC and back on many many occasions I just had the idea and went to PC to start the ball rolling .

The thing is the whole point of the mud flaps is for one reason only to stop mud etc getting onto the car...not to make the car look better (worse in peoples eye's), look hardcore or anything similar to a proper rally Fabia.

Most of the people that are interested in them have standard Fabia's that will keep them standard for ever,. they just want to stop 1 thing happening thats rather annoying, mud up the side of the cars due to the stuck out wheels on the front and rear arches.

Please if your not going to bring sensible comments to this thread then don't bother, it's all a bit childish and you end up looking stupid.

Ouch! I'm taking quite a beating here!

Don't get me wrong guys, I'm all for community spirit and all that and will happily help anyone in need. I am also very happy for all those who have been on tenterhooks awaiting these flaps. I just dont understand why something so garish could be seen as an acceptable addition to what is by all means a realitively understated car. Yes the alternative isn't 100% effective but at say75% effectiveness and maintaining the overall look of the vehicle, surely the compromise is just?

You're of course right, it is down to personal preferance and yes I do think they look daft but please don't take umbrage at what I say. The world is all about balance, Yin and Yang and all that. I am happy that my standard vRS is there to address the balance.;):D

Just please, for the love of God, tell me that there is no one on here who has their car stickered up and has a flamer kit. That could really tip the scales!

Is there any chance of a group buy, or do we contact PC direct?

There are a few more on here mixed in with others!!!! :D

When I ordered my Fab vRS last September I asked for mudflaps.

And the cheeky salesman refused because he told me with the suspension as low???? as it is they would be wripped off the car.

Hence more damage to the car than if I had gone without mudflaps.

What do people think.

Oh by the way this Briskoda site is brilliant!

Is there any chance of a group buy, or do we contact PC direct?

Same question from me Chris?!? Don't mind dealing with Performance Creations direct but after you're (and Keith's, etc) hard work I think a group buy would be more appropriate   !?!

Well what do you think?

The skoda flaps actually dont fit, you have to make them fit.

I will ask PC tonight about a group buy and the price of the product then we can start as list again.

Any news on the possible group buy yet Chris??

When I ordered my Firby last September I asked for mudflaps to be put on the car.

I was given a quite stern no. Because they will be wripped off the car due to low suspension setting.

Has anyone else wi mudflaps fitted had this problem?

Your answers appreciated.

I've had standard Skoda mudflaps on front and back of my Fabia vRS for two years and they never bottom out. (I'm on standard vRS suspension height though).

Right,

after having an email back from Ian at PC I have the following answers

1. They will cost £59.95 with a 10% discount for a group buy so £54 (inc P + P in the UK ( elsewhere add £8)

2. They are available in Black, White, Red or Blue. This NEEDS to be specified or thy won't be ordered!

3. You need to specify if you want decals of the vrs emblem, you either wnat the old emblem or new one . By default they won't have them on.

4. You NEED to specify if you want FABIA VRS or OCTAVIA VRS mudlaps

5. Payment is sent via PAYPAL to [email protected]

6. The details of what you are buying needs to be specified in the comments box when you are sending the payment on pay pal. State that you are buying via a briskoda group buy to get the 10% discount.

I'm not sure if you need to add address details via paypal??? but maybe it is best to so that Ian at PC knows where to send the products.

That's all.

any questions let me know

have a look on ebay as they will be going in Performance Creations store with pictures.

Obviously if you prefer buying on ebay you can but i'm not sure if you can get the GB discount

HERE ARE THE SHOTS OF THEM
