New Colour - Sprint Yellow

Featured Replies

Has anyone seen or got a Fabia vRS or Octavia II vRS in Sprint Yellow? I want to get a Fabia vRS soon but not in Silver or Black, I might consider Red.

Having checked brochures and Skoda's website Sprint Yellow looks a shade or two darker with a green hue compared to Lemon Yellow. Is it?

I've tried my local dealer and they can't help yet, as they haven't got any cars in that colour and haven't got the colour swatch either.

Bedford Skoda have one. I have seen it in their showroom. I must say I prefer it to the original yellow. Its a bit richer if you know what I mean. Still would be better in metalic.

Postman Pat has one, but he is silly:D

Buy a Red one, they are the fastest, ask any car thief:(

Might try and take a spin up there at the weekend, only 20 miles or so from me. Thanks.

Best colour by far, puts a smile on ya face every time ya see it, hence Mr. Grumpys' comments  Is much brighter and yellower a bit like rover mg or seat yellow hth

PostmanPat's is the one on the far end of the row in my sig pic. Unless you see the two yellows together, you couldn't tell them apart (but only the newer Sprint Yellow cars have yellow doorhandles).

As the pic shows, yellow Fabias are more gregarious!

By gregarious, do you mean:

Outgoing and funny, like Postman Pat

Friendly, helpful, and cheerful, like yourself,

OR

Annoyingly loud and gets on your tits, like Tigger?

wouldnt buy a new vrs now, might of done 6 months ago.

the new fabia is released at the end of january so prices will fall extremely quickly and within 18 months you'll have an old model vRS!

just my 2 pence worth.

I like the sound of this Sprint Yellow , but have yet to see one in the flesh (or metal , as it were) I'm probably going to buy a 2 or 3 year old vRS as my next car , so hopefully there will be plenty of this colour sold!

I have one, but not yet on the road, awaiting the cherished plate transfer to go through from my 2004. It arrived yesterday at stealers. Looks far 'sharper' than the lemon yellow. I first saw one down at a dealers at Fareham. You either like it, or loath it !!;)

EXCELLENT - thanks; just what I wanted to see.

Definitely more stridant than the lemon Yellow on the Fabia to date. It also looks to have a different, greenish, hue to it as opposed to the orange hue to the yellow of the Ibiza, Rover 25, Porsche Boxter etc etc.

I wanted to get up to Progress Bedford this weekend to see their Sprint Yellow Fabia but ran out of time, maybe next Saturday?

I spoke with Progress Skoda in Bedford this afternoon, they sold the one you saw BUT have just got another one in that will be in their showroom by the weekend. Hoping to be able to get up there to see it!

Very much better than the previous yellow and I really was torn between sprint or red when ordering however I played it safe and went for red.

What I would say is ask to see it out in daylight as the flourescent lighting in the showroom gives a false impression of the colour.

Must admit I quite like the new yellow, however I still prefer red. Black is my least favorite simply because it's a bugger to look after!

I managed to get up to Progress Skoda just before Christmas; their other Sprint Yellow Fabia had also been sold; they did suggest they could contact the owner and borrow the car for me to look at if need be. Nevertheless I took the opportunity to take a test drive in a Fabia vRS; a very useful exercise.

Certainly, Progress Skoda were very helpful, personable and professional; I'll be calling to them in the New Year when my plans to buy firm up.

Can I stick my oar in ?

Have had a vRS for two weeks now.

04 15,800 miles. 3 months Skoda warranty, 1 years dealer warranty inc AA.

The czech word for Sprint is actually "Puke". So if you get a sprint yellow Fabia, you actually have a "Puke" Yellow Fabia. And that's a fact.:D
