My L & K 53 diesel bleeps when the snowflake light comes on at 4c.

And my '02 Ambiente diesel (October '02, so 52 plate ) doesn't and never has. I somehow doubt is was different on different specs, so maybe it changed between October '02 and sometime during 53 plate??? Has anyone got one that proves that idea wrong?

The necessary bits (external temp sensor and "beeper") are there, so it is something that could be enabled/disabled in software, so it could be varied by spec, or at owner's request, at least in principle.

2001 Furby Comfort.

Central locking - no beep

Low washer fluid - no beep

Low external temp - no beep

Seatbelt - no beep

Bulb blown - no beep or light or anything GRR

Low fuel - beep

Not sure about anything else yet and really dont fancy finding out if I have low oil beeps etc

Ive got an 01 Fabia TDI estate. I'm pretty sure it doesnt beep on mine, but all the other things that beep are ok. Eg low fuel/blown bulb/seatbelt/lights on/low washer fluid
