Been a while since the update. Performance Creations are looking into doing the mudflaps for the VRS version both Octavia VRS and FABIA VRS.

We need 2 volunteers,

1 x Fabia VRS owner

1 x Octavia VRS Owner

Performance Creations are based in Bolton, so anyone near there you need to listen up because you are in for a treat.

If you can visit performance creations indoor site they will measure up and fit the Rally style mudflaps for free! Yes for Free! So then the rest of us that want a set can get some from them.

Please PM me inf you are near Bolton and are interested. I only need 1 Fabia VRS and 1 Octavia VRS.

Maybe this thread could be moved to the General Forum seen as it's for the Octavia VRS too. (maybe admin can do this?)

The Astra VXR was done for Free that is on the website! Looks good don't it!

I am needing 1 lucky volunteer to do some sizing up for some rally style mudflaps from performance creations.

They produce accesories for the sportier variety of cars including the ST's, the VXR's, Type R's Etc

I was wanting some mudflaps for the Fabia VRS and found out I can't get standard to fit and even if they would they are far too small for the large wheels. I stumbled across this performance creations while looking for mudflaps so I am not anything to do with the company at all.

So who wants a FREE set of Rally mudflaps for a Octavia VRS?

I am interested in these, I was in Wetherby last week and was driving a lot down piddly wee roads and the state of the sills, lower doors, rear bumper edges was disgusting when washing it.

Let me know how you get on, I am 30 mins away from bolton if that.

well at the moment there is you and someone else in a Fabia VRS going to be measured up to have these fitted. Also Your car could be on their website I suspect, if you allow it of course.

I can't make my mind up on these. Would be very interested in seeing on an Octy, but some cars with short rear overhang, makes them look like they've got a mullet...

is this just for the new octy? I have a mk1 but am quite a fan of rally style mud flaps on road cars being a huge rally fan.

Quick Update .......

I went in for measuring up today for the Rally Flaps on my MK2 Octy vRS, going for a set in blue with matching new style vRS logo. All being well they will be on the car for the Rolling Road day at JKM for anyone interested in taking a look.

It all went a bit pear shaped as somehow I contracted mild pneumonia over christmas and have been sampling the north wests finest hospital food for a while which delayed me getting in for a "fitting".

Ian knows his stuff having met him today so I think they are going to look and fit great, nice to meet Keith today as well, his red flaps genuinely do look good on the black Furby vRS

One other thing to note is that Performance Creations also do vinyl cutting and graphics so another possible source for any logo's / stickers anyone want's making up.

Quick update

The Rally Flaps have just arrived ... to late to fit them tonight, but they will be going onto a rather filthy blueish octavia tomorrow and I will post up some pictures.

Better pix on Friday as it's being detailed (weather permitting) by Ian at Finer Details

Any pics of just the flaps for now Tony?

How much are we talking for these flaps. I paid over a hundred notes for Subaru flaps and the missus was not best pleased!
