It's Mini based isn't it?

No! I can usually have a stab at most things but that's got me baffled. Where does the engine go, for one thing? Assume it's at the rear ...

I agree it looks mini based but I can't find anything that looks like it.

Yes it is mini based. I have 1/2 and A serise for it outside. Uses standard front subframe, and is definaltly front engined. (The fibreglass fuel tank is in the back!!)

Is it some sort of GTM?

An early Marcos?

Gizza clue:confused:

Its not a GTM, or a marcos, but you are on the right sort of lines.

So is it a well known make like Clan or Dutton etc

Biota ?

NO. It is quite rare, until we bought this i had never heard of them, it was my dad that put me on to them. They can be found in the right places on the net, but there is next to no info on them.

A clue is they were all built in Yorkshire, (as far as i know).

Any info on these is greatfully recived, i have been told that one of the magazines did an article on them a few years ago, but i have so far struggled to get hold of them to get any more info from them.

i hope these are of use to you , i may have the magazine with the article in it but , i don't think i would find it , as there are about 15 years of Miniworld and about 7 of Minimagazine to look through:(

Yes thanks thos pics will help us alot, it is a later car than ours, according to the regestration, and it seems to have things a bit different to ours, but that could jut be because we dont have the bits at all! If you stumble across anything else at any point it would be great to see it.

Biota

this might be helpful also

Yea i found that initially, also found quite a good site written by a japanise guy, the english translation is rubbish, but it was also quite helpful. Apparently the car when complete only weighs, 540Kg!!
