If the Octy was tuned would it have a chance?

I highly tuned one, maybe, but only in a straight line and from a rolling start.

I would give it to the evo, no science in that, I just think the evo is a better balanced package.

a VII is around 110kg lighter than an octy, but even with 4wd transmission losses I reckon the evo would take it, but it would be so close the evo pilot would be sweating

By Tuned octy2 are we assuming something like revo1 (ish) or a full "shifty"

Standard fare, if you could get the power high enough (and against, say, a 260 that's possible) then on a dry, straight road you might go as fast. If there's a bend involved throw away the Octy and buy a Scooby.

Would have to agree, from a rolling start on a dry straight road, it would be close, but the Evo would have the edge. Throw in some rain, a corner or a standing start and the Evo would trounce it (assuming both drivers were of equal ability, weight, etc, etc)
