Very nice mate, love those seats

Nearly done a Clarkson and wet myself.

I love Cupra R's, nearly bought one a while back but the Seat dealer wouldn't give me a good price on the Octy vrs I was trying to part x, I got three grand more for it at a Skoda dealer. Ive found Seat dealers in general to be quite rude and lazy. Still wouldn't stop me buying one though.

Im very envious.

I have a few things to go back to the dealers for, nothing wrong with the car, just need to collect an Item I ordered. Then I'll be able to give an accurate review. I agree with you though.

Maybe It's a London thing Chris.G? I walked into the Seat dealer in New Southgate (North Circular) and asked on what Cupra R's were available to buy. First off, I was told that I wouldn't be able to insure one (I'm 19) and my budget was too low.

I went to a Seat dealer in St. Albans, bought a car £2,800 cheaper than what 'New Southgate' wanted with less mileage and insured it fine (although costly.)

To a certain point, I see there side of the story, a young lad coming in, wanting to test drive the fastest car on the forecourt. They must have it all the time, but to show me no interest until I was prepared to do a sale is a joke.

Lovely looking motor, i do love the Cupra R.

very nice, i do really like the cupra r's, is it the 225 version, just a remap will see around 260 you lucky fellow

me like.... I always wanted a yellow one lol

Looks mint Aaron - looking forward to seeing it next month.

Very nice buddy, I guess you will be spending a little more time on 'another' forum!!.

Have to say this is really nice. Even though I love my Fabia Vrs there is nothing better than a lovely turbo charged petrol engine.

The interior is so much nicer than the new version.

Really nice car!

Tony

I'll still be attending the Skoda meets, and sitting in your car, as I usually do :D

No, It's a 210 version. They use the same engine as the 225, but come out of the factory with a different map.

Generic remaps are usually 265hp from Revo, and a custom one a tad more.

I'll try to get some engine work done before the rolling road day Stu, It would be nice to see how it runs..

Although, anything over 210 would be nice! LOL

Cheers for the positive comments..

Looks very nice, will hopefully have a closer look at a meet in 2007.

[mcDonalds] I'm luvvin' it! No, I really do1?! LCR is three letters than mean so much to me!!

very nice car, i love the LCR.

looks especially good in either red or yellow too :)

i think there was some actual difference betweent the 210 and the 225 motor but my memory might well be failing me there

just a quick look at jabba's site and for some reason the 210 engine remaps the same power but higher torque so either something is different or they changed their map and forgot to correct the site

Cupra, hmmm... very nice indeed.

  • 1 month later...

I'm a bit late on this post I know.

Great looking car...I'll keep an eye out for ya.

I gotta ask, your 19? Living in North London? Whats your insurance like?

I'm always around Muswell Hill, Crouch End, Bounds Green, so if you keep your eyes peeled, we'll definately meet. :D Cheers for the positive comments. Although the car is not currently driveable, I gave it a quick test drive tonight, after it had a few new engine parts installed. And it's a completely different beast now, apart from, after a while, I couldn't get it to move. LOL

Turns out to be a 'Slave Cylinder' ? *Clutch bearing* .. I think???

I've updated the original engine bay pictures for a bit more 'bling' :D

So the dealer had it for a week, its gone again on the same day you got it back, and is off the road again, but you said it went in for a new throttle body, , coolant tem sensor, clutch master cylinder and now the clutch has gone.........????????

Ask if they still have your old Fabia vRS on the forecourt, they might do a deal, and let you have it back, at least it was reliable....:P :P :P

Hope you get it sorted this time...............................
