Here is the 'after' run on the rollers.

I can also add that another EVOM has been fitted to an Octy with REVO Stage I with eaqually impressive results in fact even more impressive as that saw a gain of over 15bhp to 248.6bhp!!.

It's good to note that the Intake Temp is 15' and the Ambient Temp 13' so nice and close with minimal correction factor and thus accurate results. Unlike some posted by a certain tuner recently trying to substantiate some rather wild claims.

Is that whp or at the crank?

Great numbers though, over 200hp from 3500rpm on and 250hp in the 4500-6500 rpm region!!!

How come u didn't get to the limiter?

Can u please remind me your setup?

thumbs up

It's calculated Flywheel HP, the common quoted figure in the UK. US dyno's tend to quote WHP.

Setup is Milltek TBE and Evoms Intake with Stage II software.

No point hitting the limiter when you are on the downhill slope from the power.

Thanks for the reply Stu.

Though the curves are really good, isn't a stage 2 Tfsi supposed to get 270hp?

Yes, and Stage 1 is "supposed" to produce 250bhp.

There is an on going debate about this and Revo are testing some TFSI Octavias soon.

Well that's good to hear. I'm sure the conclusion will be an interesting read.

 - based on what I saw on the JKM RR day, it sure would be interesting :P

That said, if this EVOMS air induction kit allows figures of nearly 250 bhp to be reached with a stage 1, it would seem that is a worthwhile mod

My Evoms went on this afternoon

:orb_devil

Obviously have a fair bit of memory on your camera :P

Good pics :D

Great 'How to guide' VRStu. Now can you do one for replacing the diverter valve :P

Oh and can you feel a difference after fitting the EVOMS and how noisy is it?
