I quite like the look of that, especially the interior..

but will it torque steer as badly as the other FWD VXRs?

I like that! Not sure about the yellow buttons and controls inside

190bhp  That'll be one to watch. Outside looks nice and not too rudeboy, but the interior is a bit OTT for my liking .... not that I'm sure I'm in their target demographic!

Chris

I like it, it's gone on my list to replace the GF car. :)

Gay.

Im pretty sure that it will handle like the Vectra VXR, all show and no go (around corners anyway :D)

Its too fast for girls....

Oh waaay too fast.. and it's not pink either :D

I think that looks really good and the interior on the new corsas seems very nice in the flesh.

I'd have the same concerns as other people about the handling - vauxhalls have a well deserved reputation for struggling to get the power down reliably but a test drive would soon show that up.

The 0-60 is very impressive but nearly 16k is a lot for a supermini

thats the shiznet, should be an awesome little weapon, especially after a remap :D

Maybe the bright coloured buttons are so it's like the playstation controller.

16K for a corsa - having a larf ain't they?

its the same sort of vehicle as the clio sport etc so i'd so no they are perfectly within their rights at that price considering the performance.

the ***** need somthing to drive, and i'll be dammed if thay start driving skuds.

i take it your talking about c havs there?

you really think a scally can afford a 16k corsa? its more likely that they will get a 2 or 3 year old 1.0 3cyl one and stick the VXR kit on it.

and whats so bad about corsa's? i drove one, a brand new one in fact for nearly a year and only changed it due to rediculous insurance quotes so am i c hav?

No, you aren't and I just bought one...

incidentally Vaux are doing an authorised tuning kit to take the power over 200bhp..

Who cares....

the words Corsa and 16grand do not go together period.

I think it looks like a great package at a very sensible price really. What alternatives are there for similar money?

what does a fully spec'd up octavia or superb go upto??

take a trip over a bmw/mercedes/audi/etc etc forum and ask who'd pay ~£25k for a skoda and see if you get laughed at.

vauxhall now make very reliable good cars and i really can't see a problem with a corsa VXR costing 16k

i'd say it would be noticbly faster in every respect than a mk2 vRS but cheaper and easier to park.

Don't like it. It's too cartoonish and idiosyncratic. Vauxhall are trying too hard.

I don't think I'll ever grow tired of reading posts from Skoda owning car snobs.

The irony :)

Not my cup of tea really. Quite a bit of performance though. Wouldn't mind a go in one :)

lol I aint a snob, I just think it's too fussy. I like the Fiat Grande Punto, Kia Sorrento and Kia C'eed if that's any help.
