Thanks for the welcome . I must say Fabias do look tasty in bright yellow and is a break from the silver norm. I quite fancy a red vRS so long as the thing doesnt turn pink in a couple of years .

I was going to go for an Octavia vRS, but the insurance costs were just a bit too high for me, so plumped for the mini vRS instead! Haven't regretted it a bit though, especially after the Jabba trip! :P

Thank you for not swearing on this forum , and welcome. If you need the space, go with the Octavia, if you want a pocket rocket that will do 50mpg even when chipped to Octavia levels go for the Fabia, just be prepared for a long wait.

I dont really need the extra space so I think the pocket rocket is probably going to be my final choice. I have tested the beeza tdi 130 and was very impressed with the torque. The other thing about the Octy RS which puts me off slightly is that I hear that they are a bit of a target for theives and bored coppers.

MrCake, slightly OT, but are you the same MrCake from the RadioandTelly forum? I happened upon that site today when looking for info on PVRs and the username stuck in my mind...
