furby vRS deals

Featured Replies

any advice,

going on saturday to hopefully buy a furby vRS. my gf is wanting to trade in her Polo GTi for one.

What is the dealer list price(

Deals are hard but not impossible to get, if you catch the dealer at the right time of the month then this could work for you. My dealer had a fuby vrs in silver the other day, in stock. Sold it within an hour of opening, so they are in great demand.

Basically she needs a trade in of minimum

As already said deals are hard to get but not impossible. The vRS is in high demand and if she wants to go for specific options then she may be in for a long wait. She may have to go for what the dealer already has on order, as I have done. At least that way she will get a delivery date. I have heard of people waiting months for Fabia vRS's because of they requirements.

If you are in the north check out Derek Slack Motors in Middlesbrough, they have a couple of black ones on order.

simpsons of nelson lancs. said they had 34 fabia vrs's on order for march!

As people have already said, deals are pretty hard to come across. I was lucky to find a dealer who could delivery before May, some were June! Ask for a discount and they just say that they can sell the car to someone else as quick as they like!

If you want a standard vRS then dealers are pre-ordering them, ring round and ask what's coming off the boat shortly and see if you can live without the additional toys!

I couldn't get them to budge on price, best I could haggle for was a spare bulb kit, full tank of diesel and AutoGlym treatment at "cost" price - not a bad investment with that light grey interior as it's equivilant to Scotch Guard.

Good luck!

Dave

basically what she wants is a metallic black car, no extras really.

in what car it says the trade in should be

The best I got was a free tank of Diesel.

Basically the car is already heavily discounted which is why dealers are loath to give you any deals. The 130tdi is an engine in high demand and there are few of them available, skoda are doing their best to secure as many units as possible to meet orders for the VR/S.

You can try holding out for a deal but don't expect much.

Got the AutoGlym treatment for

oh is the price of a fabia vRS definately

SWMBO just paid

Local dealer near me is selling a pre-chipped 180 bhp Fabia vRS for 11,795 with 2K on the clock. He is also selling a pre-chipped Octy with 230 bhp for 16,495, which seems a bit much to me.

Does the pre chipped one still have the balance of it's 3 year warranty? I'll be looking at getting mine chipped (if I decide to get one) but I'd still want the warranty.

went to the dealer today, as predicted no deals are available, demand is to high. she is going for a silver Fabia vRS, hopefully should be here shortly as it isnt a special ordered one! got a decent trade in on her Polo GTi too.

Big london dealer offered me 1k off any fabia and I got a vrs for 10990. No haggling required, their ad in "what car" said 'best price' on skodas. I phoned - simple as that!

The ad is there every month.

I got met paint free, thats about it.

But I bought it there and then, picked it up the next weekend.

Ordered in December it's built and on the way from the factory for March.

Paid

Price is

This isn't true. The vRS is exempt according to my dealer and all the other furby's have 0%.

We are being charged just 2% apr so I can't grumble if we bought before March which we have.

I agree' date=' the vRS does [b']not[/b] belong to the 0% deals on other Skuds. When I asked my dealer, he initially said yes, but quickly backtracked when I said "OK, I'll have it then" :D

Still, 2% isn't bad really. IMHO, I'm rather happy it's not a 0% car otherwise absolutely everyone would be buying one which would have a negative effect on residuals. Having said that, even without the 0%, everyone still wants to buy one! Must be a good car then ;)

Now what was that ad that said "it's so good, it sells itself" ? :D

Big London Dealer? Which one if you dont mind me asking?

This isn't true.

Er, yes the 0% on the Fabia vRS is true - 2 years not 3 though. See attached scan of advert from last Thursday's paper.
