Milltec sports Exhaust

Featured Replies

not any real info yet..... but i have just ordered one of those to fit on my 2.0 fabia.... i know it isn't designed to go on the petrol model, but i'm going to stick it on there anyway

I think GTjunior has one of these, but he paid for his fitting.

I ordered this from this company, top stuff I also got the cat as well part no: mssk03 top marks to them for delivery, got Awesome Gti to fit the whole system

Good kit sounds awesome with a lifretime warranty, reasonably cheap as well!

Is the cat required as well or can you just replace the 'cat back' ?

was there any additional clamps or brackets required ?

Cheers.

you dont have to replace the cat, I just decided to go for the whole system, cant comment on additional brakets as I had mine fitted

The Milltek system comes with everything you need to bolt the exhaust together. If you go for the full system, all you will need is a new gasket that fits up to the turbo. I should be getting my whole sytem fitted on friday (touch wood?)

I am getting the car rolling roaded before and after fitting by the garage, just to see what effect the exhaust has on the car. Should be interesting to see?

Looks familiar ;)

Thats how mine should look on friday....only in silver!!

Milltek's prices are due to go up any day now so £170 for the MSSK05 and MSSK04 (ebay link above) are a bloody steal!

Latest price list says RRP is £312 for the above!!

Slightly off topic,

The ebay seller also lists MAGNEX exhaust, im would like to keep my oval looking exhaust, anyone have any comments about magnex products?

Also, what does the fabia sound like with the twin tail pipes?

*Sorry have done a quick search and there is no actual reviews i can see.

yeah, i had a magnex system on one of my polo's... it was realy good quality, fitted perfectly, didn't go rusty at all in the 3 years i had it(some stainless systems get little rust spots!) and it came with all the fittings needed to install it

Magnex are a reputable brand, but for oval tailpipes also consider Scorpion and of course Blueflame (Blueflame and Milltek being the usual choices for Briskoda members).

I've just spoken to Roadrunner about their Milltek systems on ebay and they've only got 4 left in stock at the cheaper price before the price rise!

Confirm the price with them by saying you saw it on Briskoda

Roadrunner Motorsport – Skoda Milltek performance exhausts, systems, cat replacements, rear boxes and manifolds

do you work for them or something?

Funny you should have put this up as I have just purchased one myself...

Cant wait. I think the milltek twin 3" rounds look great. And mine was bent and buckled as the gf reversed into a small brick wall...:thumbdwn: :o

PS what effect on sound would there be with the MSSK04 + MSSK05 (without MSSK03)?

Nope, but have spoken to the guys and girls there on a few occasions :)

lol @ your sig...

so so so true... pity:P :o :O

i was told not to bother replacing exhaust on fabia as it does not offer that much gain, and that the only way to improve was to remove the cat! is this incorrect as apart from sound and looks what would be the point excuse my ignorance:confused:

gains - not very much. 5bhp absolute max, but it looks damn good and maybe give more of a burble.

Also my missus bent mine, and its doing my head in as the rest of the car is pristine. Not a bad cosmetic mod for

no i do agree the oval one looks the nicest to me (sorry all who say otherwise), thought as much! just checked out tdiclub.com and says for the minimal gain in bhp not worth it, but does look nice will buy one when mine needs repalcing lol

do you work for them or something?

Nah, Joff works on the other side of the engine ;)

I have a Milltek Full Turbo back system. Car feels smoother and quicker. Sounds the dogs balls. If you buy brand new you get all the brackets you need. I think you need a new gasket for between the turbo and exhaust(might be wrong) I paid 105.75 for awesome GTI to fit mine. Well worth the money.

Not since September :P

I'm sticking with my standard pig snouter until I've done the rest of the engine (bigger turbo, FMIC, remap etc) but as already said, the aftermarket ones look great and give the car more of a sporty exhaust note.

I've had the Milltek full turbo back system on my car since about 10/05 and have not regretted spending the money on it once. I bought mine and had it fitted @ Jabbasport.

It was not cheap but if you have a budget for mods it should be on the list.

:)
