For anyone interested in doing this mod, the device code for the diode is 1N5404 , Maplin order code QL84F, price 0.17p each ( 0.27c in Ireland). I'm sure Peats or Radionics will also stock them.

AFAIK the rear fogs are the same intensity as the brake lights

So in theory no-ones going to know they are the rear fogs.

Yankee cars and some trucks/bus/coaches light up part of the indicators when the sidelights are on

I'm thinking of doing the 2 rear fog and 5 rear brake light mod. Is anyone able to provide some more in depth pics of the installation please? Showing how to get the boot carpet off and where to run and connect the loom for the 2 rear fog and 5 rear brake light mods? Many thanks!

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue.
