If people can't afford the insurance thats up to them to decide but i'd say there would be a fair few willing to pay a few more

As per the post Petr posted, with pics of the ltd edition VRS, it does not come out of the factory with leather, our UK dealers add them here, or so we are lead to believe!

Just a thought relating to the numbers being bandied about. If the leather is added between the UK import centre and the dealers, I can't see there being 1000 examples as surely it'd take months to trim that many. My bet is on 100 or 150 max, unless of course someone knows different.

As suggested by Skoda UK I've spoken to all our local dealers in the area and their attitude has varied from disinterest to bordering on "p**s off Sir, I'm busy drinking my coffee". I thought Skoda used to pride themselves on being one of the few marques that actually recognised what customer service was. From this experience it seems its not just the VW quality that has passed down to them - the 'sod off pleb' dealer attitude is catching up too.

Nice pics. Really like the colour. Skoda UK did send me a picture of the UK car but I can't work out how to get it on the forum. Its pretty obviosuly a photoshopped image as the blue piping on the seats sticks out like a sore thumb.

i really love it in this color.. This is just awesome, I never liked the VRS colors except the yellow and red, now this is the best

it suits the Octavia far better
