What people fail to mention when they talk about Ford losse sis that the Financial divisions that look after the HP agreements etc. are making a decent profit, as are the European sectors.

I appreciate that the European divison is profitable, and the finance division, however, with the huge losses and borrowing in the US the group is not in a good position. If Ford as a group goes bankrupt the european operation will be at threat.

Im sure someone will buy into the Ford group if they faced a position like that.
