Something strange with the site tonight :D

Steve

I'm well impressed with the DS2500's. No fade all day at Elvington and not even any noticable wear!

I was braking better than an STi 8 too' date=' and that was the thoughts of the Impreza driver :D

What sort of discs are you running Steve?..

Give us the details on the rest of the car while you're at it :P

Bill' date=' that 25k includes 30-40 Ring laps on this set, now no grooves left.

Yep, they shaft the paintwork but nowhere near as bad as the Performance Friction carbon metallics :D[/quote']

hey hey... My CM pads 01 and 97 compounds did'nt mark anything..

What compounds did you run? Mine a yellow staintastic car too ;)

Took out the DS2500's which crumbled as they were levered out. Had lost their bite. Plain disks...

CM pads Rock :thumbup::D

I've just fitted the front DS2500 pads, very straightforward.

I connected the brake pad wear wires, no warning lights on the dash, and have just come back from 'gently' bedding them in. I was surprised that they didn't feel spongey at all (after all the previous posts on the subject.)

My local dealer did the rears this morning, so DS2500's all round. He did ask if I'd had anything done to the car, as he took it for a quick spin to 'allegedly' check the rear pads. I explained about the chip, LAN CAI, DV and that I'd be fitting the TIP tomorrow. I think he was quite impressed!

Andy

Andy, how much did they charge to fit the rears?

The proper wind-back tool is only

Andy,

Adrian,

I just cut the two wires that went into the pad, bared them and twisted them together, covered with a bit of insulation tape and covered up with the original heat shrink - simple!

Thanks Andy!

You should be impressed with the brakes Adrian.

Every passenger I had at Elvington remarked on how good they were! I would say that they are better than my Impreza 4 pots with 335mm discs
