Featured Replies

Is that a white Octy vRS in the background of the first pic?

I know Simpsons had a couple in - are there more arriving?

I think those pictures are from foreign shores Andy.

Its raining on those pics - couldn't possibly be Grimsby!!

I was refering more to the headlamp washers and sunroofs on the Fabias, as an indication that it was no the UK:P

Having looked again, the fact that the third pic shows a LHD car is also a bit of a giveaway!

Yeah, I dug up these pictures from a French site.

You can see the steering wheel is on the left, right next to the croissant-holder (exclusive for the limited-French-special-Limited-Edition. ;) )

Hello everyone, first post, ive just traded my mini cooper for a ltd edition as took a vrs out on a test drive and was very impressed and also realised just how slow the cooper is,still smiling and cant wait for delivery.

I think those phot's were taken at the factory. The car in the left picture has Xenon's which I don't think the UK ones have.

Yeah, no sunroof on the ones I took. Also Grimsby weather: SH!TE :(

Not sure if they are still at the docks. I'll be going past at some point so i'll let you all know.

Might look good with some red bull graphics on, not to everyones taste though i know.

Hope no one's already pHere they are, as promised went to grimsby and took some pics like a saddo until the security van drove towards me:D .

Few snapped aerials and stuff, looks like they've been treated like sh!t by the handlers:eek:

Bit limited for download space on here, do you get more space if you're a freedom member?

Are they in world rally blue ?:P Get some gold alloys on and a subaru badge, it will look great !... Oh and a 2.5 turbo:thumbup:

I take it these are the 1000 end of line edition VRS' (before the new 2.0ltr next year)... If that is the case (I was going to count them... but couldn't really be bothered) then the leather is standard for them (as is cruise control and a cd multichanger... oh and a nice plaque with the number off the production run(anyone going for 666?))...

It has been mentioned that the car needs bigger wheels, but has anyone got images of a lowered VRS on 16s?

Don't think there was 1000 there when i took the pictures but according to my mate, who told me they were there in the first place, a load more have turned up at Grimsby docks.

I ordered mine 3 weeks ago not so sure now i expected all the windows to have slight tint (Legal) except the front window as per Skoda's web site. Dont people normally get there back windows tinted like that for the kids!.

Have you tried the Alloys archive?

I thought that if you went anything noticably darker on the front you were over the legal limit anyway...... I'm pretty sure that normal standard tinted windows on most cars are very close to the legal limit for front windows.

Anyhow factory fitted tints are way better than after market tints as the glass itself is tinted and you don't get that strange effect you have on aftermarket tints around the edge of the window..... We had Privacy glass on the IS200 and it looked the Dogs danglies especially as it was on a black car.

I wish i'd had the option of having factory fitted privacy glass on my vRS!!!

Cheers

Dave.

They are all there at the docks now, row upon row waiting for all your grubby mits. Drove past the docks on friday afternoon on way home from Hull. Didn't have a camera but the pic's wouldn't gave been any better than the first lot. There's just about 6 more row's.

Sorry if it has already been confirmed but is the 'privacy glass' just the rear window and 2 back seat windows or does it continue on the font 2 windows leaving only the front windscreen as normal glass?

Or

Is it only the rear windscreen and 2 rear seat wnidows that will be tinted?

Did you look at the photos?

It's just the back window and the rear door windows that are tinted.... (5 in total inc. the quarter lights)
