I have just received confirmation that my vRS is sitting in port in Germany (:eek: )...just waiting for the boat. Dealer reckons I should be driving it next week, barring any disasters.

Based on everyone elses experience, does that time scale seem about right?

Seems possible.

My car arrived UK on Friday, so assume it left port in Germany on Thursday, and is with the dealer this morning, for delivery tomorrow - Thursday.

So broadly a week, ex-port Germany to you driving it!!

Should be here on Thursday!

Mine is apparantly still show as dispatched from factory, and not cleared port in Germany. Hopes of having the car over Easter are disappearing fast. Can anyone give me any wisps of hope that it may still arrive in time, to be PDI'd so I can collect on Saturday...

Try asking your dealer to speak with Skoda UK Customer Service to see if they can put a 'hurry up' on your car. If it is any consolation the location of my car jumped from 'left factory' to 'arrived port UK' in one move and was then delivered to me a week later.

I soooo love those alloys. Just wish it would have been possible to do a deal with my dealer, but they weren't interested in allowing me anything against my 17's.

No problem with the heated seats, it was my dealer's first time(?) but I gave him the option code, they cheched with SUK and came back saying 'that'll do nicely, Sir'.

Sorry to hear you couldn't get a deal on the wheels; their loss as I'm sure they would make a fat profit on the 'dealer fit' wheels and (as my dealer is doing) would be able to find a buyer for, say, a Classic or Ambient who would like a nice set of 17" Zeniths 'cheap'.
