With a warrenty?.................. for 3 years?...............is it JUST THEIR cover or take it to ANY Skoda dealership for repairs/Service?

That IS a very good deal!

How many do they have?

Mike

my mate has a 2.0TFSI in his Leon Cupra, (265bhp i think) he said the turbo, injectors, various other parts differ from the octys 2.0TFSI engine, sure he mentioned an aluminium head aswell although i'm not so clued up to know what difference that makes.

265bhp seems to be the maximum anyone has reached so far with the Octavia 2 vRS ;)

It was a one off car. Been around for a little while now.

Pretty sure there were two of them done - one for their Preston branch and one for Colne.

The Colne one sold and has been spotted in the Manchester area - not sure if the owner is on here.

The other one was with Ants at the Preston branch for quite a while - maybe it has moved to Colne now. Unless they have bought back the one they sold orginally?

the leon cupra engine differs much the same as the 1.8T in the cupra R did to the "normal" 1.8T's in it has different manifold/turbo/injectors etc :)

the head though i couldn't tell you.

I know there were two white cars but I was under the impression that it was just the one of them that had the full treatment - I guess it would have been an idea to do them both up.

the bloke brought it back because he kept getting pulled by plod apparently, but it could be a cheap way of getting big power, buy it rr it and then take it back and demand they give you the 40bhp it is missing:thumbup:

Ford were getting 500bhp from 2.0 engines back in 1988 btw ;)

those toolbox's are awesome value,i had a snap on one not small but not a giant either, with a top box,i got it second hand, new list price for both was about £2000,had to sell it in the end cos i had no way of getting it home when i left my last fitters job to go back driving,it was so heavy full it took a forklift to lift.Kind of defeats the object of having wheels i supose:D

i got the bottom box with drawers and i quite fancy getting a top box too :)

Sierra RS500 Cosworth was a standard production car ;)

no it wasn't, it was a homologation vehicle.

and then fill it:thumbup:

and it didn't have 500bhp, it had 224bhp

the 500 bit comes from how many they made the same as the new ST500 ;)

Which is still wrong, as only 496 were made ;)

and it may be homologation, but its still pretty much production - more production than an RS200 any road ;)

either way. Cosworth's rule ;)

And i know it didnt have 500bhp - but the touring cars did ;)

and then fill it:thumbup:

i have my angle grinder, tapping kit, random tools(ball joint splitters, 21mm swan neck spanner etc etc), socket set and stuff like that in but i still want a top box to get mroe in :D
