This afternoon the wife, me and my youngest where chugging along when I get a rear view full

of sh*tty kitted corsa.. push, back off ,, push, back off..he kept doing it, the road then goes to dual carriage way for about 300yds.. next minute the wail of 6inch exhaust is coming along the side of me..

rollocks to this, 3rd gear 2000rpm….whoosh

lol, I’d never seen anything go backwards as fast… vrs don’t cha just love em

Lol...welcome to vRS ownership mate. :D

I remember reading about coppers using unmarked ones in a bid to get people to try racing them. Not sue if it was true but judging by the amount of bulbs that have tried racing me it'd most definitely work. ;)

where did this come from, you must have some built up rage inside you? go and have a drive to calm down...

I know what you mean by traffic light grand prixs...I just don't bother

today I had A RS4 next to me revving his engine at the lights!!!!??

what a nonce!

Although I did act like a total prat once in notts when this idiot in a corsa (I can see a pattern occuring) tried to race from the line on a dual carriage way. I made him think he was doing well then put my foot down...lol he started flashing his lights at me in rage. Nothing to brag about it was only a 1.4

I get it all the time. Usual suspects are....... VW Golfs, Audi A3, Corsa`s and the like. Makes me smile:-)

I`ll be honest. I fall for it every time. Age 40 going on 18. Lol

When side by side with a nutter at lights,I like to rev my engine and look very serious then as the lights change start very quickly for about 5 feet then slow down to a normal acceleration and laugh as the nutter next to me hairs off. Alternatively, if the road is clear try drifting your car backwards as the light are coming up to change, the nutter next to you will think he is rolling forward stand hard on his brakes leaving you to gently pull away and in front of him. It takes a bit of practice but is hysterical when it works (I don

So do I mate and I'm 48

Go for the 'Q' car approach and just leave the Skoda badge on the back. I did this when I had mine and people are even more confused than usual!

Then remap it and the fun starts all over again

I do have an excuse, I'm nearer 18 than all of you, probably ;)

Steve

I think I am about 18 in tortoise years

I find the 1.2 badge, and 4 steel wheels helps them cry later ;)

I wasn't as mean as you Dave, clearly! :D

Steve

Yeah know exactly how you guys feel it's all Nova's and Corsa's up in Dundee.

Think it is the Skoda Badge that does it they are drawn to it, they should know better by now fed up seeing them vanish in the rearview.

Not really a rage , just last night (reading the odd thread) was feeling that if you backed up the vrs performance you were

having delusions of grandeur..

Late night post syndrome I guess.

Definately sounds like you revved back.

Seems like you spend 99% of the time (ie when you're not out-dragging Corsas off the lights) with people thinking you're a tight git if you do that

I made him think he was doing well then put my foot down...

More like you were slow to react off the lights ;)

Corsa's and Clio's always seem up for a race here, especially if I find myself in the wrong end of town at night. I generally don't bother to race them - nothing to prove, plus imagine how embarrassed i'd be if I lost :D

Don't get me started on tailgater's on the the MWay at around 90mph - I'm sure people think that because its a skoda it must be going slow - I pull in to let them pass, then they slow right down again..... :(

You are right of course - the Fabia is a very very quick car

If you think your RS is quick, try a 2.0

So do I mate and I'm 48

Me too and I'm pushing 50 :D:D:D

I of course drive a sensible family hatchback :rolleyes:

It's always a laugh hairing away from the local "urban massiv" in their "spoiler heavier than the actual car" Corsa's and Fiestas.

I am a tight git :)

I can't be arsed proving anything to the spotty corsa/clio brigade, unless they look like they are thrilled at "beating" a 1.2 Fabia. Then I **** on thier bonfire :)

Punto took me by suprise last night in the octy. Lad looked about 12 driving it, and he got quite a distance before I realised that I was struggling to reel him in. It was an HGT. Quite nippy those :) It was almost :o

I was once following an Escort RS (FWD model) with a giant whale tail into Hulme in Manchester. As it pulled up to a set of lights, a couple of yoofs ran out of a side building, went up to his car and with a bit of

Was it a S2 RS turbo?

Was it a S2 RS turbo?

It might have been a RS 1600 or what ever it was called. Thinking back, it was the hard core version of the XR3 and seemed to always be in white. But it was FWD (front wheel drive as opposed to four wheel drive)

guess that will be a private motorway;)

Oops, sorry, a typo. I mean 70 ;)
