1969 car on E-bay $9.9 Million with 8 hours to go

Featured Replies

surely that's not worth the cost of a hospital wing??

The Ebay advert says some people think its a scam and have been making false bids, so maybe the nearly $10m price tag is not right.

There is a pretty cool meet you can go to in it though...

Chris

They wrote off several each series, I believe. There's no such thing as "the original"

I was thinking its probably on a par with buying the A team van.Or the Saints XJS

Not like buying Bonds DB5.

Crazy fools

Even with the provinence, and buying in dollars, that price is two 0s too high.

this is the only american car i would have in my "dream garage" hehe i have the horn as my ring tone on my phone......

Bidding has now finished and had a look at the winning bidder - appears to be someone who deals with fishing gear

WTF are Americans on, Ok its special but look what that money would buy you & we still havent seen the last minuite flurry of bidding

eBay Motors: Dodge : Charger (item 250108256198 end time May-04-07 10:02:36 PDT)

Not really suprising as Americans tend to go mad on eBay at times and will pay suprisingly silly money, I recall last year someone from the states paid over

lol thats a pic of a dukesfest.... dukes fans equivlent of those daft trekkie conventions but instead of turning up dressed as kling-ons or spock etc... folk turn up with replica generals or sherriffs cars.....

I love the Yanks !!!!!!!!!!

This can't be right.................. can it ??

:uglyhamme

Only In America...... ;)

Classic American cars are where to put your money just now. they are paying stupid money for immaculately restored cheesey old V8's. How long it will last is another question.

This car is neither classic or immaculate though

The winning bidder also won a WHINNIE THE POOH BABY CARRIER. DISNEY BABY SNUGLI for US $7.44
