There are LOADS of plastic bushes on them

It could be them that require replacing

Dont let her get the better of you , and treat her right with a few nice new bushes :confused: that dont sound good does it :lol:

Thanks Sarah.......I asume these bushes are under the car in the linkages. From the bottom of the gear lever to the gear box??

yeah, the linkage is made up of two long metal rods, one is a fixed rod which is there to maintain a fixed distance between the gearbox and the gear lever pivot. and the other is attached to the bottom of the gear lever and is connected to the gearbox selector shaft.. this is the one with the plastic bushes in.
