Hello from a not-so-brisk Skoda newbie

Found this site yesterday - very impressed.

I've just bought a Fabia - terrific car, you all have excellent taste. Its only a 1.4 Estate so I won't be worrying the vRS people but in a year or two when my Ford puma gets a bit old I'm seriously tempted to go for a quick Fabia or Octavia

In the meantime I promise to drive as briskly as I can with only 68bhp...

Oh' date=' and don't be so sure about being brisk-less.

Jon (TaviaRS) here who was [b']the[/b] former speednutter here has just px-ed his vRS rocket for an SDI octavia which does 0-60 in a tad under 20 secs iirc.

So you can enjoy with all the fun we have taking the mickey out of his sloooooooow car and you can feel assured that you're not the slowest briskodian around (for the time being, anyway I doubt it'll stay the slowest skoda for long)

Dear Experts , I am trying to analyse the basics checks of AIrbag issue ( will NOT use any multimeter ) so trying to see if all wiring is intact and no loose connection. Can anybody please advice if I am missing anything as I am seeing only just 1 airbag connector under seat rest 2 connectors as mentioned in video is missing even though same bracket exists as shown in video , also please advice I also don't see any extra cable connecting to ground terminal of my fabia mk2 . Hi, Partner acquired this 2023 1.0 Fabia last year. So far, the resistor pack for the fan has packed (!) up and the actuator for the fuel flap needed replacing. These were done under warranty. She's had the car back from its MOT and warranty work and now there's a light on the dash saying "check brake lights." The light on the nearside is out and there's only one reversing light, on the offside. Are the rear lights all LED? No bulb I can change? If it is a bulb, how do I get to it? Are th

Hi guys, hoping someone could help with this. Bought a Kenwood DMX6523DABS (6.8 inch screen) for Carplay recently, and the correct cable harness to go with it will be arriving on Thursday, however I cannot find a fascia plate or dashboard fitting online that would fit this screen install. The screen came with a plastic bezel that covers the metal cage that locks it into place, but it still leaves the big gaps in the dashboard.
