I am picking up number 74/100 from the main dealer in Winchester ASAP next week. It is white and has had the sticker kit removed (but I have a photo with the stickers!). I'll be bringing it home to Upper Clatford, near Andover in Hampshire.

Morning all, No76 now lives less than a mile from me in Lower Earley Reading. Is the one that has been for sale in Le Car Centre in London for the past 4 years!! Will try n have a chat with her owner and introduce them to Briskoda. They have a Mk11 on the drive too. Have a good weekend.

Interesting snippet for you all to ponder. Have been told that Skoda have 25 of the Octavia WRC's unsold sitting in a factory somewhere in The Czech Republic. Urban myth or?? Discuss?

I doubt it. I could understand a couple being held in storage, but 25 seems over the top to me!

Did that come from a Skoda dealer by any chance? The dealers I have spoken seem to like inventing stories about the WRC's for some reason. According to one dealer I have used (who will remain nameless) they actually produced ten of each number (so 1000 in total). They were also all sold in England...

I would love to be in the position to buy another one... That really would get the neighbors talking

Hi Number 80 vrs wrc lives and is well, in St.Helens, Merseyside - thought that I would update! It has the addition of a WRC rear spoiler instead of the original, plus some exttra stickers eg Sparco, Castrol etc
