Alloy Wheel Opinions

Featured Replies

Will be purchasing some new 18" alloys for my octy but cannot decide which ones suit the car the best.

I have narrowed it down to 3 different types and would like peoples opinions.

The pics are not that great as I had to get the lads from 'revolution to place the different alloys next to the car.

pic 1: Team Dynamics Pro Race Alloys

pic 2: KEI Force 10 Alloys Hypersilver

pic 3: RS6 Alloys

They all look good mate. Personally I prefer them in this order:

1. RS6

2. KEI

3. Team Dynamics

Well I would say go with pic3: RS6's but thats only cos Ive got them fitted ;)

But must admit I do like the look of pic 2: KEI force 10's against the black car

pro race. the other 2 will destroy the cars handling being heavy.

rs6 wheels on mine was a really bad idea

I agree with the increased weight of the RS6 alloys.

I physically lifted each alloy and obviously the pro race alloy was lightest but even the KEI was not far behind in terms of weight.

The rs6 alloy was very heavy in comparison - does the weight have a significant part in the handling of the car?

Im not convinced, Im a big fan of the standard wheels still :)

I have a soft spot for OEM Style alloys.

RS6:thumbup:

But option 2 are nice.

Personally i think pic no2 KEI definately the best choice.

I agree, I like the Kei wheels, and they are very well finished.

No. 2 for me.

the KEI Force 10 are a must out of the three.

Option 1 if you are performance minded, 3 for looks though...

How much for the originals..? pm me... :)

option 1:thumbup:

option one they would make it look mean:cool:

Gotta be Pro Race mate.

RS6 has been done to death imo. (although they do look nice!)

I agree the pro race are the better wheel with performance in mind.

The car would look a lot meaner with these fitted but as I am going to tint the rear windows black, so I don't know if the car will look to ' BLACK' if that makes any sense.

The KEI wheels do look well finished and look good next to the black paintwork.

I like the look of the RS6 wheels but the weight I think will affect the handling of the car so I don't think I will be getting these wheels, unless I hear otherwise

michael balai, delete some messages in your inbox! Trying to PM you... :)

1 Pro race - look cool

2 Kei Force - ok

3 RS6's ....look too chavy IMHO

But like some others here, I still prefer the originals! So save ya money!! :0)

pro race. not a fan of non-standard oem-style wheels and the rs6 thing seems to have been done too often and i plain don't like the kei's

how can a car be too black:confused: :D

1. KEI

2. Team Dynamics

3. RS6

pic 2: KEI Force 10 Alloys Hypersilver

no doubt about it!!!

Team Dynamics apparently they are meant to be super light as well. Less unsprung weight is meant to better isn't it. Black car...black alloys...sorted.
