I will be posting shortyly for people who are interested in a day trip to Brugge and a hyper market stop off ( just before Christmas). If there is anyone in the Calais area who know any good places to eat ouside Calais, then we would be interested to either have them join the mini convoy, or point us in the direction of anywhere nice.

I'm a regular visitor over there, and I'm nominate some restaurants:

Le Blanc Nez in Sangatte Restaurant Le Blanc Nez nice, friendly place with excellent seafood. Just across the road from the beach, so you can walk off the meal

Or I also like L'escalle in Escalle (funnily enough) HOTEL RESTAURANT L'ESCALE

or, if you want the best views on the coast (and the interesting drive up),
