i haven't even sent off my last 21-day ticket for my first set of plates.

i did have my latest set of CZ plates on display in the window but as they are in the FE font are still illegal under UK standards so got issued a ticket to have them replaced.

Just be carefull, as each plate offence is recorded on the PNC/DVLA computer. You could technically have the plate revoked and the car placed on a Q plate.

i was very lucky, i had my other plates in the windows and argued they were still visible so what was the problem? but given my other set were still not UK spec plates i was given a ticket to have them changed, i was lucky i didn't get a fine, the police were very nice about the whole thing.

dinny really see the point, but each to their own.

If you scanned those plates with a barcode reader , would it 'read' as your actual registration?

well i never paid for the registration, so i dont think that would really bother me tbh.

It will when no one will buy you car, as they can't transfer ANY plate to it!

Once it's on a Q, you can only get Q plates for it. You'll have totally devalued your car, and effectively made it unsellable. No car dealer will accept it, and very few buyers will either.
