Skoda Felicia Headlight Adjustment

we see HALOGEN VS OSRAM LED VS MY LED.
I call bull****, even the very expensive osram is a mess in a reflector headlight,

So I much rather spend 10 euros instead of 150 euros

I've seen this test, Osram have 50% more output, so the center looks overblown (especially when halogen is ran in 12V instead of 14V) due to camera settings.

But it's apparent that the light is spread more uniformly compared to cheap LEDs. Iirc, it's fabia MK2 headlamp, which is certified, so according to regulations, this is correct pattern.

  • Any bulb that uses a blue filter to achieve whiter light is not an upgrade. They are blocking part of light. And any H4 with higher wattage is not street legal and may damage the headlamp.

  • I believe that just relates to HID or above 2000lm.   A Halogen-based projector won't exceed that so won't need self levelling and washers.

  • No problem, i'll translate it tomorrow. Old face of facelift Felicia? You have several options... OLD FACE - lights from Polo 6n2 NEW FACE - lights from Vectra B Or clear covers and homem

As @nta16 says ''this is an english site" so you must not use Yankee words, you could say e.g  ''Awe" and then: "Bloody Hell" or ''******" or ''*******s" although in GR we don't use those words. 😁

Your led bulbs are?

As far as I am concerned you can use whatever words you like as long as you're not breaking any laws or site rules.  America being invasive in many ways has introduced many American terms and words that have become common use in the UK possibly including bull****.  Other American terms and worlds can be more confusing on a UK English language site because they do mean something different in the UK to USA.

The (UK) English is very complicated with some spoken words sounding exactly the same but meaning different things and spelt differently, or a word could have different spellings and mean exactly the same.  Then there are the very many spoken local and regional accents and dialects in England only.

The language continually develops and changes, Shakespeare and the language he used though respected isn't as so widely admired and used in the UK as it may seem to Americans and others outside the UK, there are even doubts about what he actually wrote and if he actually existed.  Not everyone in the UK lives in London or went to Oxbridge type universities or universities at all.

Younger generations often use spoken words like "somethink" (or sumfink) instead of something that doesn't make them wrong as the idea is to communicate, the English language is made of of words from all over the world, after all language is just something made up by people, like many other things.

What brand are you using now for your H4?

You'll need to adjust those LEDs way lower.. I tried to crop @Thefeliciahacker's pictures to the same area, that's above the line made by the halogen lamp, which is the part relevant to blinding:

The legal LEDs are not ideal either, but much closer to the halogen pattern.

that's exactly what I've done haha see my previous pics

Which of themd o you suggest?

I think they have only one "legal" H4 model. "Legal" is in quotes because they are not certified for Felicia headlights, so they are not legal for that use.. but better than nothing at all. Other models are only for sport or off-road use, same like 100W halogens.

I know, but doesn't that move brightest part of the beam too close to the car? I always try to get the beam as high as possible without blinding oncoming cars for best visibility.
