A few posts back...

HTH ;)

Mine's between the washer bottle filler and the airbox, and most seem to have it between the battery and the airbox, but you get the general idea...

Thanks, I've seen those. The Q is: .........with the engine cover removed!!

I'm just curious as to how others have gone about the cable routing.

Sorry! :o

A pic wouldn't really help with the routing of mine, but from memory (NB: I have the PD160 intake too):

The Y-shaped section of cable hangs under the intake trumpet. I doesn't touch anything, so I haven't felt any need to tie it back.

The cable to/from the box then runs up, over the top of the trumpet (there's a little indent on the PD160), around the back of the airbox, and forwards again to where the box sits 'twixt airbox and washer bottle filler.

The power cables then hop over to the battery, with the excess tucked up in the little recess under the battery cover that seems tailor-made for exactly that!

Hope this helps...

Thanks, once again,

I've also got the PD160 so, go on, even if you think it won't help stick up a pic anyway:)

Best regards.

I've got this following picture of my installation with PD160 intake..... You can make out the routing of the cabling across the intake and round the back of the battery to the box which fits snuggly behind the indicator housing..... A little piece of blu-tac holds it in place against the bodywork.

If you want a more detailed pic i'll try and get out to the car park and take one in-between snow flurries.

Cheers

Dave.

I've just gone out and took a piccy for you..... I had to go over to the Maccy D's anyways....

It's not come out brilliant but i think you get the idea.... Ileft it routed over the intake pipe rather than under.

Thanks for the pic, Dave.

^ ^ ^ yep thats the correct one. Tell them what engine you've got and they'll change it too match.

[worth noting I bought a new one (not refurbed) from them 6 months or so back for £175. Can you make a offer on the ebay item?]

Just bought one of these. I called them to tell them the engine. I payed £156 inc postage
