One Touch Indicators

Featured Replies

Surely having ore than three would make it even more of a pain if you were to knock the stalk? Whilst driving a friends Fabia, it drove me mad having the one touch feature... I was just constantly indicating one way and then the other whilst trying to correct them

That's why I turned them off. I hated them.

okay so in the spirit of this thread, seems as the question is answered, i've another,

can one touch be activated on the mk1 ocky vrs? love it on the mothers mk2 and would like to have it on my mk1.

hoping its a case of a quick switch of a few digits like cruise control activation is..

Nope, it doesnt have the same controller so wasn't ever a function.

grand so. thanks.

I've also found 3 flashes insufficient particularly on m/ways, so today we (& mike-h) tried to change it.

Although VCDS coding showed up to 6 available no matter what number was selected the car refused to do more (or less) than the standard 3. :wonder:

Anyone know why that is?

Don't know if this has been answered / sorted now but the octy 2 FL can have the number of flashes changed, I've changed mine from 3 to 4 as I agree 3 is too few.

Code it in with VCDS (it will be accepted but will still only physically flash 3 times)

Go Into into maxidot - lights and vision - select re-set factory settings, it will then work.

As above.^

We did get it sorted eventually, and the only thing that a factory reset lost was the DST setting, so pretty painless.

Cheers Mike!
