Well, me...

Problems

Smashed sump - replaced.

Leaky boost pipe seals - all boost pipework, intercooler, turbo and egr stripped down, cleaned and rebuilt with new fittings and seals throughout.

Fully serviced with new cambelt, waterpump and thermostat for good measure.

Dented rear tweeter cover replaced.

Missing passenger speaker grille replaced.

Load cover broken handle replaced.

Lower front bumper replaced as it was scuffed.

Replacement belly pan and fixings.

New intake pipe as clips were broken on the old one.

New engine cover fixings.

New radiator as old one leaked.

New a/c fan and relay and 40A maxi fuse.

New scuttle panel as old one cracked.

New battery.

Replaced broken heated seat element.

New EGR valve fitted.

Now mechanically faultless, and no faultcodes at all!!! :D:D:D It really is as good as new with 129k on the clock. :)

Fitted footwell lights from a Superb.

Rear aero wiper conversion.

Cruise control fitted.

W8 interior light fitted.

17" Solid alloys fitted.

Sport 3 spoke leather wheel fitted with R32 airbag.

Osram Nightbreakers x2 pairs fitted.

Osram Silverstar indicator bulbs fitted.

Phillips Bluevision bulbs fitted.

Genuine under bonnet illumination (have the bits, just need fitting)

Chrome my roof rails.

Passat metal tax disk holder (will be fitted when the new windscreen is in next week)

The 3 parking dings are being removed sometime over Christmas by paintless dent removal.

Rear spoiler + paint & fitting.

Rear parking sensors.

MFD sat nav

Koni FSD dampers and Eibach springs.

312mm disks and carriers with Mintex Extreme pads.

A6/S4 strut brace.

Refurbish alloys.

Possibly have the front end resprayed to eliminate the stone chips.

What did I do to my car this year?

Well only having it three months I have had some stripes stuck on and well thats it.

I'd personally steer clear of a pipercross filter, mine's sitting damaged in the box cos the b&stard doesn't fit :mad:

Hmm, yeah, I've heard they can be a pain to fit. :(

2007.... what a year indeed

Problems:

Front wings rust appearing. :mad:

Overheated in summer

Sideswiped by truck

Failed MOT in Oct - CV boot joint and indicator bulbs

Punctured rear wheel.

Upgrades

errr none this year. But in 2006 Had the orig Blaupunkt Rad/Cass changed for a JVC unit with CD Changer then had rear speakers installed.

Other

Rotated wheels and cleaned wheels and trims.

New rear wing thanks to a foreign truck side swiping my Skoda. :thumbup:

New thermostat and Fan switch fitted soon after the car overheated

New CV boot joint and indicator bulbs

New spare wheel.

Serviced twice this year.

It fits ok on the lower part of the box but try putting the top back on and there's no chance, the filter's rubber frame got caught in the recessed top ^ and ripped apart. :mad: Cue lots of swearing :D

What made it worse was I lost one of the airbox screws down in the under-engine tray the night before trying to do it :mad: :mad:
