Cheers dude, I just thought the clear lens stood out too much and looked a bit lost

can I ask how you did it? Doeesnt it cut down on the indicator brightness?

Not really, as its only a light mist of some tinting spray. Whe you look at the light you can still see the clear/silvery background through it.

Just masked around the area and a couple of coats.

Then to get rid of the matt effect I gave them some t cut, some finnesse it and some right arm.

In fact my car is off to the paint shop after Christmas for almost the same work. I thought nobody here has such back lights and I am going to be the first one, but nah... At least I now have a clear vision of how my car is going to look with the smoked lights and the Cupra splitter.

I like the look of your car also. Apart from the gaffer taped rear lights and small numberplates. It looks like something is missing :)

don't think I can easily source the same tinted spray easily. Too bad - looks good.....

I like the rear lights, they make quite a difference to the car.

what did you use to tint the white part of the lights?

is it legal?

Used a light mist of tinting spray. It is actually lighter than in the pics. I tried to lighten them a bit more using a buffer but in the end I restored them back to clear.

Still got the can in the garage if your interested
