Got the car back today after what seems like forever with out it. unfortunately I have to run it in for 1K so have to take it easy for now but first impressions are very good. Many thanks to Mike at IP for all his hard work and patience, I changed direction several times. :o

Ripspeed would not know where any of those pipes and tubes even went to.

Might need a bigger intake though as the filter is the size of a small dustbin....................................LOL

Glad its back mate.

Nah it does look awesome.......I bet the ASR is struggling

Very nice indeed Des, looks very well.

That is engine-bay p0rn - so cool my eyeballs frosted over...

Nice one!

It's a shame you can't see what's happening behind all that bling. It's very tight back there. What with Equal lenth manifold, big turbo, external wastegate and 3" downpipe, you cannot get your hand in there.

I, Really like that Des! :)

So is it now officially a 1.6 and have you changed the badge

Very nice Des. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh at JKM's.

Looks great mate, very tidy install hate it where the tuner doesnt give a dame and you have vac hoses everywhere! So whats it pushing?

Are we talking about a normal persons hand or yours?

hope it goes well des, is that size of intake really needed though?

looks cool though :D

What is the spec now Des? :)

Looking well indeed! Can't wait to see it on the rollers ;)

Has the front end resprayed?? And whats the mileage on it now?

I see a nice sliver of blue there between engine and gearbox. :D Good choice in brakes too. Which pads are you running on those?

That looks great :)

Seemed like a good idea at the time.

It's...........to much to mention really. Basically it's 2.0T with a highbred gt30/71 mated to a 6 speed 02M box.

The bumper has been resprayed but the bonnet and wings need doing as well. It's done over 145K.

Which pads are you running on those?

Standard at the mo but DS2500 on order with a bigger kit for the back.

There are a few anomalies in the engine bay if you look hard enough, no prizes though.

expected power output?

looks good :)

I remember seeing the turbo out on the bench

Glad everything's running now Des

I'm not much good on petrols, but

Is the washer bottle usually over the offside part of the engine bay?

Thing with the orange cap on - oil catch can?

Where's the air filter? I assume it's hidden in the wing, and the ally intake pipe is post filter?

Is it me, or is there some kind of sensor in that alloy intake pipe, but there's no plug attached to it? That circular thing under the word "performance" sticker.

Yes the washer bottle is always there.

Oil catcher.......Correct

Filter is down below where the battery used to be (Now moved), so again almost correct.

The sensor you refer to is a MAF sensor, which is now connected.

Have you spotted the gauge on the left hand side of the engine behind the washer bottle????? Your guess is ??????

I'm guessing fuel pressure gauge!

Engine looks awesome.

Amazing what can be done with a 1.4 these days.;)
