Just got a Fabia estate, 1.4mpi, anybody tell me how they run when the engine has loosend up,like acceleration,top speed etc.

Welcome. Not sure on the stats but I think it's a 0-60 of about 15 seconds and a top speed of around 100mph?

Recently had a hatchback 1.4mpi as a loan car from my dealer for 3 days. Didn't have quite as much 'go' as my 16v, but it was pretty nippy.

Can't say I exactly thrashed it, but it felt ok - I'd have thought that once the engine had a few miles on it, it would certainly be driveable... :D
