I know I'm biased but I honestly think that the new Ford Fiesta, although stylish and probably due to drop some nice performance models, is not as nice looking as the Mazda 2 upon which it is based. Compare and contrast:

Wash my mouth out with nasty tasting soap, but I actually almost like the new Fezzer. Don't think much of the Mazda, nor any Mazdas for that matter (apart from 1980s RX7s maybe).

Okay so the Fiesta has a nasty Peugeot type gaping gob but it's quite well proportioned IMO. I quite like the 'current' shape Fiesta too, but thankfully none of the engines appeal to me so Ford aren't going to get any of my hard earned.

I like both of them, look really nice cars tbh.

the key think is both show the Fabia up for what it is.... a very ugly duckling.....

I like the look of that, although the centre console looks overly fussy to me.

They both look really good , and would certainly be in my choices if I needed a car that size

But I can't believe they also do it in baby poo green like the Mazda. Not a nice colour.

Im loving that fiesta, looks like an angry wasp! Not sure about the colour tho. Alloys and interior look smart i think.

Has abit of a punto/i30 look about it dont you think?

Not a massive fan of the mazda range TBH, although i no the mazda 6 is a hell of a good car!

Saw one of these in the flesh the other day, quite a disapointment (like the Kia Ceed) after seeing all the nice pictures in adverts etc.....

As for the new Fiesta and Mazda2, they both look smart - but I sahll reseve judgement till I've seen them in the flesh

Oooo quite like the looks of that!! Sorry to say but in looks department it kills MK2 furby hands down as does the Mazda.

Dont like the front design tbh, but I don't think that colour helps, would like to see it in other colours though.
