AUDI LED Light bars

Featured Replies

I think the point was, that you've badged your car as a vRS when it's clearly not...

The point??? We're talking about LED lights here love..

( And I know my car isn't a VRS, I didnt say it was..) :P

Love?

The badge says vRS though...

And one position of the lights looks good, the other looks gash, tacked-on and rushed, but I'll leave it to people to work this out :)

Love?

Yes, love... (Sorry, are you the only one that's allowed to be patronising in here??)

You are entitled to like/dislike/hate my LED lights, and that's fair enough, but, is there any need to have a dig about the badge? We aren't even talking about that, plus its been mentioned already!!

And if it is 'clearly not' a VRS, then why do you have to harp on about it?

I dont want to make enemies on here, but if you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

and you obviously spent more time finding things to pick at than you did reading my post/ looking at the pictures, as you would of realised that I cabletied them on, therefore leaving NO tacked on look..

Made yourself look more than a little silly now haven't you love..?

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Again with the "love"? The only time that's happened is in the theatre, but then most people in the theatre are weird...

It seems like the badge is a bit of a sore issue with you, so we'll leave that - I think you've learnt your lesson.

The description "tacked-on" means that they look like they've just been placed there, and is nothing to do with the technique of actually fixing them. Regardless of their fixing, they look gash.

No sore issue at all!

I just dont like listening to people with nothing interesting to say.

Don't listen then :)

It's your car, do what you want with it...

Thanks for your permission :P

thanks will have a look on ebay, are the lights legal to use all the time during the day? and is there anyway off putting them inside the light lense like on the audi's? thanks tom

I would imagine they are road legal due to most new Audi's and Saab's having them on them as standard, but dont quote me on that...

As for putting them inside a lamp unit, I guess it is possible, but not something I'd want to try as it would involve taking things apart which aren't meant to be taken apart.. I suppose that would be an individual decision for you to make :)

This is another one of those cracking mods that people think they look great where as in reality like Lexus lamps they belong on the car they were designed for...........companies like the one I work for spend hundreds of thousands of pounds developing lamps to meet strict road traffic laws in ECE, SAE and also meet all the generic test requirements and this sort of 'aftermarket' product is knocking around for sub £30...........:thumbdwn:

Such a shame.........but as stated, it's your motor and if you think it looks great then so be it...........

In what mate?... :P

Like I said, each to their own.. Im not normally someone that does this kind of thing to their car, and normally I would agree with you, but I'll be honest, I saw a Mk4 Golf with it at Ace Cafe last week and thats what made me do it... I thought it looked great, and I think it looks great on my car... And that's all that matters mate!

At the end of the day, everyone is different, it would be a very boring world if we were all the same wouldn't it??

And on another note, I do like your Superb Baker21, looks very nice with those wheels on it..

Your quite right mate, it would be a boring world if we all drove the same cars that looked the same......

Thanks for the comment on my motor........also not everyone's cup of tea.........:D

For them to look good they have to use the new Gen3 LEDs as they are the brightest and each LED itself is quite big.

PAArsko says leave Shady Al alone! If truth be told we all mod our cars in ways that others might not approve. Each to his/her own. I think it looks OK. Having seen them fitted I am not sure it would work for me but thanks Shady Al for showing us how it looked on your motor.

Does the insurance company know about these additions?

Dont you have any ironing or washing up to do Babs?

Wonder where you can order these from??

I'm surprised Baker21 hasn't spotted/brought this up. Any info?
