AUDI LED Light bars

Featured Replies

Just wondering out loud, you know the new Audi Thingies with the led light bars below the headlights. I was wondering what it would look like as a mod?

the idea that i had was incorperating two of those 12v workshop led light bar inspection lamps, somewhere on the front, maybe in the foglamp recess or the front grille, after all they are sealed units and 12v.

What do you think neat or naff, ???????

i like the audi ones, would be interested too without looking ch@vvy.

I would be too if it was nice and classy

im thinking of how to do this on my fabia i think it would look pretty good in the dark...of course it would be a better example than this rough photoshop:)

i got the light strips just need to make some sort of jelly bar:)

plus they will look better than the crappy side lights on my octy as well.

You can get them, opinion is divided. Personally I dont like em.

Here they are on an Octavia;

Don't like them myself.

If they were done in the same style and position as the Audi ones, possibly.

Anything else, :thumbdwn:

I don't like em, even on Audi's.... :o

I think they are like Lexus lights - they look OK on the car they were designed for, but NOTHING else.

I saw a yellow fabia on the m6 near wigan today with them fitted. Each to their own I say

I quite like the ones on the Audi's... not so sure on other brands though. The mk1 Octy above doesn't look to bad.

Just hope this doesn't replace the LED washer jets as the chav mod to have :thumbdwn:

A big no from me, the R8 just pulls them off... on any other car they will look a bit chavvy.

You just know without a year these will be on every saxo/corsa in site.

Underneath neons? ... now we're talking :D (i've been watching too much fast and furious).

Not my car, but this is a pretty good DIY attemt.

I like them, when did you get them and how did you fit them?

Quite like them - esp the ones on the mazda 3.

However, not sure they'd look good on any Skoda.

I was thinking about this myself, but it might end up looking naff. I quite like the Octy above

It's inevitable that they will soon start to appear on Corsas outside the local McD's , just like "Angel eyes" headlights did after BMW introduced them.

If they are done well , I think they could look ok on an Octy - preferably a silver one

Ahem... Audi LED driving lights on a Corsa.. sort of!

Think i might trial some on these on my ibiza...

Hmmm , not convinced.

I don't like them as a separate strip of lights - they need to be integrated into the headlights as on the R8 and S5

I think this looks ace:
